01Introduction
ReachEase is intended for responsible business outreach. This policy describes how the service should be used and the behavior we expect from the people and teams who use it. Using ReachEase means agreeing to conduct outreach in line with these expectations and applicable law.
02Lawful outreach
Outreach conducted through ReachEase must comply with the laws that apply to the user and to their recipients. Users are responsible for understanding and meeting any legal requirements relevant to their messaging, including consent, disclosure, and opt-out rules where they apply.
03Relevant audiences
ReachEase is meant for reaching people for whom the outreach is genuinely relevant. Users should target audiences with a legitimate business reason for contact rather than sending indiscriminate, bulk, or unsolicited messaging to unrelated recipients.
04Truthful identities
Users must represent themselves and their organization truthfully. Outreach should make clear who is contacting the recipient and why, and must not misrepresent the identity, affiliation, or purpose of the person or LinkedIn sender behind the message.
05Honoring requests to stop
When a recipient asks not to be contacted, users must honor that request promptly. Continuing to message someone who has opted out or asked to stop is not an acceptable use of ReachEase.
06Not for harassment
ReachEase must not be used to harass, threaten, intimidate, or repeatedly contact people against their wishes. Outreach should be respectful and appropriate for a professional context.
07No misleading identities
Users must not use false, deceptive, or impersonated identities, or disguise the origin of their messages. Deceptive tactics intended to mislead recipients about who is contacting them are prohibited.
08Prohibited unlawful messaging
ReachEase must not be used to send unlawful content or to conduct fraud, scams, phishing, or other illegal activity. Messaging that promotes or facilitates unlawful conduct is not permitted.
09User responsibility
Each user is responsible for their own outreach, including the audiences they choose, the messages they send, and compliance with applicable law and platform rules. ReachEase provides tooling; it does not determine whether every user's outreach is legally compliant.
10Platform rules
Outreach through connected accounts must comply with the rules of the platforms where it takes place, including LinkedIn's terms and any limits those platforms set. Users are responsible for the accounts they connect and for operating within platform requirements.
11Abuse reporting
If someone believes ReachEase is being used in a way that violates this policy, they can report it to us using the contact details below. We review reports and take them into account when assessing potential misuse.
12Enforcement
Where we identify use that violates this policy, we may take action such as requesting changes, restricting features, or suspending or terminating access, as described in our Terms of Use. Enforcement decisions are made at our discretion and consistent with applicable law.
